The Spark Change Ambassadors of the GLOW Together Foundation were so excited to team up with No Kid Hungry for October Initiative and Fundraiser.

Our Ambassadors were on a mission to provide as many healthy meals as possible to kids in need, so during the month of October, we organized a nation wide fundraiser in support of No Kid Hungry. All month long, each dollar donated was matched, which allowed us to double our impact!!!

While incredible strides have been made in the past decade to improve child hunger in America, the impact of the pandemic has caused these numbers to rise at an alarming rate. No Kid Hungry is committed to working tirelessly to reverse the impact of this terrible blow in the long recovery ahead.
Every Dollar Counts
Every $1 donated equals approximately 4 healthy meals for a child in need, and thanks to the Neighbor to Neighbor Challenge Fund, every dollar donated in the month of October was matched, and thus doubling our impact.
Speaking of impact, No Kid Hungry works in a variety of ways to end child hunger... from before, after, and summer school programs, grants, policy reform, and of course, advocacy and awareness.

Community
Speaking of getting involved, our incredible team of Ambassadors went above and beyond to get their communities involved and it is with their support that this initiative was such a success. From social media campaigns, bake sales, and bingo nights, from neighbors, businesses, networking, family and friends, all coming together to do their part to end child hunger in America.
Impact
And with this support from our phenomenal communities, the Spark Change Ambassadors were able to raise enough funds to provide 59,100 healthy meals to children in need. We are so thankful for everyone who donated and for rallying around us to bring awareness to this important cause. A very special thank you to No Kid Hungry for allowing us to join the team and for all the amazing work you do all year long for children in need. And to the Neighbor-to-Neighbor Challenge Fund for matching every dollar donated. This incredible effort is proof that when we all do our small part - together - we can make a big impact!
