Share the Love Initiative
As we approach a year of living through a global pandemic, the Spark Change Ambassadors of the GLOW Together Foundation, Inc. wanted to celebrate authentic connection, especially when so many of us feel so alone.
Initiative Details
In honor of Make a New Friend Day and No One Eats Alone Day, our Ambassadors inspired their communities to join our SHARE THE LOVE Challenge and attend our No One Eats Alone VIRTUAL LUNCH.

Share The Love Challenge
The Spark Change Ambassadors really wanted to celebrate the variety of ways we can still show our love even while safely social distancing.
The SHARE THE LOVE Challenge encouraged us to spread kindness and joy with friends, significant others, children, strangers and especially ourselves. We wanted to embrace everyone's unique love language(s) and offered a variety of ideas.
Acts of Service: make your bed or hold the door open for a stranger
Words of Affirmation: send a sweet note
Quality Time: virtual coffee date or play date
Physical Touch: air high five or smile
Gifts: send a special item or pay it forward
It was so fun as our friends, family and communities shared their filled cards and progress via social media.
"No One Eats Alone" Virtual Lunch
On "No One Eats Alone Day," our Ambassadors and our many new friends came together to eat lunch via Zoom, shared our hearts, and made genuine connections. As many of us are working from home, the Spark Change Ambassadors were surprised to realize how many of us were eating alone. During a month, where romantic love is all around us, we were excited to hold a space for all of us to come together, share a meal, and celebrate the many different types of love.

Impact
Community and connection has never felt so important, and to have the opportunity to intentionally connect with others and ourselves with grace and love felt especially impactful. Initially we didn't anticipate this initiative making such difference in so many lives, but were pleasantly reminded how much the small things mean, especially with so many big things happening all around us.
